Rumple's Pub (Closed. Location has reopened under new management as “Krawl Daddy’s”.)
221 N. Main
St. Charles, MO 63301
Rumple's Pub was a cozy and uniquely decorated pub in the historic district on Main St. St. Charles, MO. Because the original owner, Frank Hackney, was a musician and loved music, Rumple's was a great venue for live music. Rumple's hosted a lot of great events, acoustic round table, open mic, jam sessions and more. Stop in for some good food, drink and entertainment.

In Memory of Frank...

The stage lights that shine on the local live music community lost some of their glow Sunday, June 13th 2010, when Frank Hackney passed from this Earth. Frank was an owner at Rumple's Pub on North Main in Saint Charles, MO. Frank was also a father, a true friend, a mentor, a musician and a big contributor to the local live music scene.

A superb guitarist with a voice that was very easy to enjoy and appreciate, Frank performed in local groups and also sat in with many local musicians. It was always a joy listening to him as well as a pleasure and honor to play with him. Frank's musical contributions did not stop with his own playing. He supported many other musicians such as myself, as well as many of my friends, with his kindness and generosity by inviting us to play at Rumples Pub and share the stage and showcase he created. He also sponsored musical events that gave both veteran musicians and passionate amateurs the opportunity to play with each other and in front of audiences.

I enjoyed his smooth vocals, his guitar artistry, his humility, his smile and his sense of humor. It is sad to know those things are only memories now but they are memories I will keep and cherish. - Dennis

New Haven Grille & Levee Bar (Closed)
109 Front St

New Haven, Missouri
Open Wednesday through Sunday, the New Haven Grille and Levee Bar is the best bar and grill in the Historic District of New Haven…in fact…it is the only bar and grille in historic New Haven. It would be a great place just because of that but the fact is, the location, history, decor, atmosphere, food and drinks should put this place on your "bucket list".

The historic area of New Haven is a couple square blocks of picturesque old buildings with a few unique shops and B&Bs that is nestled right between the train line that carries currently Amtrak passengers west through Missouri and the Missouri River that carried riverboat passengers west over a century ago.

They also have enough TVs to keep everyone up-to-date on the world and sports.
